Partnership

Working in partnership with businesses to develop employees skills that meet the needs of the business and the individual is a key element of our strategy.  Our team of Business Consultants are well equipped to advise you and your staff on the most suitable training courses and future progression routes available.

Members of the team are industry experienced and are trained to undertake training needs analysis, tailor bespoke provision and advise on available funding to support the cost of training.

Employers benefit from a single point of contact within the College via our Business Consultants.  They are able to assist with links into many of our other Employer support services, such as our Skills for Life (literacy and numeracy) provision and our health and safety training.

Experience

The Business Hub has a wealth of experience in delivering high quality training to a wide and diverse customer base. From one-man businesses to the large multinational companies we are able to meet the needs of the ever-changing marketplace.

We link with many other local organisations such as Business Link, the Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses, as well as working in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire.

Our philosophy is to be able to offer employees training that benefits all. However if we are unable to provide a course from our extensive portfolio, we will assist you in locating an alternative provider.

Ongoing support for the individual learner is essential. This may be in the form of specialised assistance for a learner with a disability or perhaps advice and guidance for progression to higher level courses.

For an individual enrolled with GC, there is access to a wide variety of services such as the Learning Gateway.
