Funding

GC is the largest further education college in Gloucestershire, and as such we have access to funding to support employers from all business sectors. Our main source of funding is from the Learning Skills Council and this funding stream supports a wide range of qualifications which are detailed in our prospectus.

Train to Gain is a good example of this Government funding, where NVQs in the workplace can be delivered at no cost to the employer, provided the candidate meets the entry criteria.

Courses can be fully or part funded depending on the qualification type and level, other  funding is sourced by the College from organisations such as the European Social Fund, these are usually focused on specific sectors or individuals.

Other organisations such as Business Link with Leadership funding and Gloucestershire First with funding for small businesses in Gloucester City all offer opportunities for funds to support training.
