Gloucestershire College Business Breakfast

Thursday 10th February 2011, 8-10am

Gloucestershire College, Gloucester Campus, Llathony Road, GL2 5JQ

To mark National Apprenticeship Week 2011, Gloucestershire College is hosting a FREE business breakfast at the College’s Gloucester Campus on Thursday 10th February 2011.

The breakfast meeting will focus on Employment Law and Skills Development. Simon Collingridge, a Solicitor at Rickerbys LLP, will be providing an update on the new Equality Act and how it is likely to impact upon your business, whilst Gloucestershire College Business Consultants will be on hand to offer advice on apprenticeship recruitment and bespoke training.

The breakfast meeting will also provide an excellent opportunity for attendees to network, and is open to all local businesses, across all sectors, whether big or small. Tours of the College’s extensive vocational facilities will also be available on request.

Sylvia Bullock, Director of Business and Workplace Development said; “As a college we are continually looking for ways to support our local business communities, and hope the breakfast meeting will provide useful and relevant information on skills development and employment law, as well as an excellent networking opportunity.”

“Apprentices bring new ideas into your company and help to build a workforce fit for the future; in these difficult economic times, businesses need relevant skills to compete in the global economy.”

The Gloucestershire College business breakfast is free of charge, and includes tea/coffee and a bacon sandwich. Booking is essential as places are limited. To reserve your place, please RSVP to Simon Evans by Monday 7th February on T: 01452 563400 / E: JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING .
